I first came across this wine when living in Edinburgh and thought it was superb. Upon returning to Australia and really exploring the shiraz grenache blends available it has dropped in status for me. To my palate the shiraz dominates and I really love the smoothness and red fruit characteristics that the Grenache typically adds to the blend. That said Ben Glaetzer is a stellar wine maker, I love both the Amon Ra and Anaperenna!!

Keep your reviews coming guys they're highly entertaining and informative.

We have the 2006 Wallace at the shop I work at. We just had it a couple weeks ago and it's still going strong. Great wine, thanks for the review.
