I'd meant to ask in my original comment - David mentions the use of new oak to fix color - will using new oak actually intensify / deepen color?

Thanks Ken and David, great show. I have been inspired to try some of the wines from this region. Is $40 around the entry level?

@DT you won't find much in nebb from piedmont under that. the dolcetto's from that region should usually be a bit less.

Great video! I haven't had any Nebbiolo from US or AU that have any of the elegance, complexity, and power of the wines of Piedmonte. They are such great wines, and still great values!
